BASIC PANEL - HIV ab, Syphilis, Herpes 1 & 2, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. This panel covers what you need to screen for. There is no need for Hepatitis C testing unless you have a history of IV drug use or needle sticks. Hepatitis B can be screened if you have not been vaccinated. The HIV ab is considered conclusive 3 months after exposure.
EARLY EXPOSURE PANEL - This panel includes all std's in the basic panel, but replaces the standard HIV ab test with the more sensitive PCR test. This panel is useful 2 weeks after an exposure.
HEPATITIS PANEL - Hepatitis A ab, B sAg & C ab. Good general Hepatitis panel.
HERPES PANEL - Herpes IgM and Herpes 1&2 IgG. This panel covers all exposures from 2 weeks prior to the test to birth.
CHLAMYDIA & GONORRHEA - This urine test will detect as early as 1 week after a possible exposure
